I love Playin’ Hooky Designs. Her patterns were the first patterns I bought. I started with her free pattern, the Brain Waves Beanie and my obsession went from there. For a couple years I’ve listened to others rave about her Playin’ Hooky Disc but I never made one. Last week we went on a family retreat and I wanted to take something that the kids could play with and share. I also wanted to use yarn from my stash and not have to go out and buy more. I bought this pattern and am now wondering why I waited so long. They are so easy to work up and the kids love them! I tried to capture some photos and I think I did a pretty good job. These are made with cotton and can get wet and be washed. They are perfect for the younger crowd and we even used them inside when it was raining. They would also make a great favor for a birthday party!
